the B&W black and white store is one of the newer furniture stores in manila.
it’s clean-lined pieces evoke sleek and bold contemporary goodness that most people clamor for these days.
one will take a second look as they pass by their wide glass frontage,
offering a peek and an open invitation to view the wide array of design-oriented furniture pieces <and some good replicas> inside.
+ interesting sculptural bent ply/veneer wood chairs.
+ mirror wall art.
+ i love the detail on this lounge chair. would have been perfect if the side zippers were hidden.
One must have a keen eye for quality though, for some of the cabinets need polishing on the material finishes and need a change of mechanism.
Likewise some chairs need improvements on the upholstery work.
<This is especially important for contemporary pieces with clean-lined designs, as the quality and finish of the materials are way evident.>
Nevertheless, design-wise, majority of the furniture pieces and accessories are excellent finds, and are at par with the more expensive brands.
I love their concept, and would be interesting to see more of their new collections soon.
